Brown & Brown Dealer Services (BBDS) is growing its Pennsylvania network. The F&I company acquired DealerMax, an F&I training and product provider serving Pennsylvania and Northeast dealers.
DealerMax was established in 1982 by Jim Maxim Sr. as Maxim Automotive. Jim Maxim Jr. assumed his father’s leadership torch. DealerMax has a trailer program designed to provide services to trailers, including horse trailers and utility trailers. The company also works with RV F&I providers such as NAE/NWAN and Protective.
BBDS President Mike Neal said, “We have had a long, collaborative relationship with the Maxim family in the F&I automotive industry. We are excited to have the highly experienced DealerMax team and the valuable DealerMax customers become part of Brown & Brown Dealer Services.”
The DealerMax team will continue to operate in its Berwyn, Pennsylvania, offices. Maxim Jr. support the team during the transition period. The company will report to BBDS President of Automotive F&I Robert Hunter.
