Brown & Brown Dealer Services (BBDS) acquired substantially all assets of Dealer Admin. Services, Inc. (DAS), according to J. Scott Penny, chief acquisitions officer of Brown & Brown, Inc., and Bill Kelly and Joel Kansanback, owners of DAS.
DAS is a dealer-centric administration company providing aftermarket finance and insurance product solutions for franchise and pre-owned RV dealers. DAS was advertised as a product service under Automotive Development Group (ADG).
ADG was bought by Brown & Brown in May 2018 as a performance improvement company providing F&I training and auto warranty and related products for auto dealer clients across the United States.
DAS will become a division of Brown & Brown Dealer Services under the leadership of Mike Neal while Bill Kelly will continue to lead DAS operations from offices in Bloomington, Minnesota.
Neal said DAS has supported BBDS dealer customers since the 2018 ADG acquisition.
“The addition of the DAS team will allow us to further enhance the unique solutions we provide to our dealers along with our other product provider partners,” Neal said.
