Brown & Brown Dealer Services (BBDS) appointed Joel Kansanback to a new role as executive vice president.
BBDS President Mike Neal said Kansanback brings a record of achievement and reputation within the company, which made him an “ideal fit” for the role.
Kansanback joined the dealers’ insurance firm in 2018 after BBDS’ acquisition of Automotive Development Group (ADG). Kansanback was ADG’s founder and president.
“Joel is going to continue his role as the leader at ADG, but also help in many, many other areas,” Neal said. “We know this is a people business, and we will ask Joel to make sure we continue to have best-in-class talent, training and processes. He will give oversight to the western part of the U.S. as we look to continue our growth.”
Brown & Brown is an insurance brokerage firm providing more than 80 years of risk management solutions to businesses and individuals.
“I am grateful and very excited about the opportunity,” Kansanback said. “BBDS has had explosive growth, and great teammates have been added along the way. I am proud to be part of this dynamic team.”
