Se-Gi Products, a wholesale distributor for RV and automotive windows and replacement parts, is now owned by Truck Accessories Group (TAG). The California-based distributor manufactures truck cap windows in Rosarito, Baja California, Mexico.
By acquiring Se-Gi, TAG becomes the largest truck cap window supplier in the aftermarket accessory industry.
John Aleva, TAG president and chief operating officer, said the group welcomes the Se-Gi team to the Truck Accessories Group family.
“This acquisition and integration of Se-Gi will strategically add lean and low-cost manufacturing capacity in Mexico,” Aleva said.
Se-Gi will provide additional capacity for TAG’s already-owned window, glass product and replacement parts provider, StateWide Windows, Aleva said. The acquisition adds opportunities to grow and expand into other markets, Aleva said, including the RV industry and horse and livestock trailers.
“Capitalizing on the combined strength of Se-Gi Products and StateWide Windows,” Aleva said, “we look forward to strengthening our product offerings, expanding our market reach, and strategically growing the business at Truck Accessories Group.”
