Camco Manufacturing, Inc. announced Tuesday it had been the victim of a cybercriminal attack in late October, but the manufacturer of aftermarket accessories and OEM products for the RV sector returned to full-scale operations.
“Our IT infrastructure was hit hard in this attack and things got rough for a couple of weeks,” Senior Vice President of Sales Keith Cook stated. “Our backup systems and disaster recovery efforts ultimately came through and we’ve rounded the corner as far as coming back up to speed.”
Several areas within the company are still being restored to normal service, but Camco said it once again is accepting orders and shipping from its Greensboro, North Carolina, headquarters.
“Obviously we’d like to thank all of our great customers for their understanding and patience during this difficult time,” Cook stated.
Camco Manufacturing, Inc. was founded in 1968. The company manufactures and markets a wide variety of outdoor and residential hardware products from multiple locations in the U.S. and Asia.
