Camping World has taken control of the former Lazydays dealership in Surprise, Arizona. The dealer chain closed Thursday on the asset and real estate purchase.

The transaction is the first among seven Lazydays stores Camping World will buy after a November 2024 announcement of the deal. The dealer chain said it expected to close on the additional stores in the upcoming weeks.

Marcus Lemonis, Camping World chairman and CEO, said, “This is the first of multiple locations anticipated to close in the coming weeks. These locations bring top OEM brands, incremental market share opportunity, and a more traditional RV product mix that aligns with our strategic priorities.”

Camping World operates five dealerships and a consignment store in Arizona.

Lemonis said the dealer chain expected to make more acquisitions this year.

He said, “We expect to continue to capitalize on today’s robust dealership M&A environment.”
