
Camping World’s Good Sam brand will create a Good Sam Confidence Program, powered by an automated RV valuation tool for consumers.
The Good Sam RV Valuator provides a fair-market RV value in near real-time, Camping World said. The program will help prospective and current RV owners get the appropriate value during the buying and selling process.
“Good Sam has been protecting millions of RVers since 1966 and the launch of the Good Sam Confidence Program, powered by the Good Sam RV Valuator, is one more way that we are advocating for the RV consumer,” Camping World Chairman and CEO Marcus Lemonis said. “RV owners deserve to have the value of their RV asset protected and respected in the ever-changing marketplace. As the value of goods and services strengthen, so should the value of your RV.”
Camping World said the valuation tool includes decades of proprietary data regarding towable and motorized RVs. Consumers enter specific data points—including year, make, model and trim of the RV along with five questions regarding the RV’s condition—to provide the valuation.
Camping World said the valuation tools is updated constantly to ensure consumers access the most accurate information. Consumers include their contact information, including an email address, before accessing the RV valuation information.
