The eighth Canadian RV and Camping Week, a nationwide celebration of the RV and camping lifestyle, begins today and runs through May 28.
The week-long event highlights the outdoor recreation’s importance and showcases experiences RVing and camping offer, the Canadian Camping and RV Council said.
“Canadian RV and Camping Week serves as a platform to unite RV enthusiasts, campers, industry professionals and outdoor enthusiasts from coast to coast,” the council said. “It provides an opportunity for individuals and families to connect with nature, discover new destinations, and create lasting memories.”
The Canadian RV Association (CRVA) said the week also supports local economies and encourages sustainable tourism.
The Canadian RV and Camping Industry is committed to supporting Care Camps. The charity gives children with cancer a chance to go camping at one of over 100 specialized summer camps in Canada and the United States.
CRVA said members, campground owners, RV dealers, manufacturers, suppliers and outdoor enthusiasts are invited to join in promoting Canadian RV and Camping Week.
