The Canadian Recreational Vehicle Association reports RV wholesale shipments into Canada for the fourth quarter ending Dec. 31, 2019 totaled 10,023 units compared to 13,784 for the same period in 2018, representing a decrease of 27.29 percent.
Total RV Shipments for 2019 were 39,989 compared to 59,451 units in 2018, down 32.74 percent overall. The RVDA of Canada reported that according to Statistical Surveys Dealer Retail Activity during the year totaled 45,127 units and when compared to the wholesale shipment figure of 39,989 indicates that Canadian Dealers Inventory levels decreased by 11.4 percent in 2019.
The report revealed motorhome and fifth wheels were down the most. Truck campers and fold-down trailers were down the least. For the full report, see below.
