Coachmen Concord Adopts Suspension Upgrade

Coachmen RV established a partnership with Auto Flex and will include the supplier’s Air Ride Suspension on Coachmen RV’s Type C motorhomes.

The supplier said the suspension will improve braking, provide better gas mileage, maintain vehicle ride height, improve road handling and provide a more comfortable ride.

“The Concord is our top-of-the-line Class C which offers a lot of premium features only found in Class A, diesel pushers,” said Luke Handyside, Coachmen’s Type C Division general manager”Up until partnering with Auto Flex, the air ride suspension was the only major feature missing from the Concord. The fact that we can now offer a true air ride suspension puts us in a category all our own, which is why the new Concord 321DS was largely designed around the Auto Flex system.”

The air ride rear suspension is built on the Ford E-450 chassis.  Auto Flex Air Ride Suspension owners Dereck and Paul Legros said they were proud to offer the product to consumers.

“We are excited to be a part of the evolution of air ride technology,” Dereck and Paul Legros said, “and we are thrilled to see our products enhancing the driving experience for Coachmen owners all over the country.”

Auto Flex Air Ride Suspension offers bolt-on air ride suspension systems for various RV uses. Auto Flex said the bolt-on feature is unique because it does not void an owner’s warranty.
