Coleman-Mach, an Airxcel brand, added a new product to its air conditioning (AC) line. The series now includes the 15,000 BTU, 48-volt rooftop AC.

Each of the supplier’s DC air conditioner products includes features to decrease power consumption, thereby enhancing battery duration. The ACs include a soft start feature to use less power.

Airxcel Director of OEM Sales Steve Smith said, “The new 48-volt units are designed to provide long-lasting, highly efficient power to get the comfort you need in your on-the-go oasis, wherever you are.”

The appliance is designed to benefit Type B motorhomes and compact travel trailers. The low-profile AC measures 38.5 inches wide, 34.5 inches long and 8.5 inches high.

The AC has a three-speed adjustable fan. The appliance features a quiet mode that Coleman-Mach says lowers sound during night use. The AC includes a remote control.

The appliance is now available for OEM prototyping.
