After 40 years as an OEM supplier with at least one component in nearly every RV, Magnadyne Corporation started selling to the aftermarket in 2019.
Magnadyne Corporation President Barry Caren started the electronics supply company in 1969. Though Magnadyne’s first products were speakers and radios for the automotive industry, the company has been in the RV industry since the late 1970s.
Today, the company sells 2,000 parts, including RV routers, extenders and stereos. Magnadyne’s RV Wi-Fi and back-up camera prep kits are frequently installed in Keystone RV and Highland Ridge RV units.
Starting in June 2019, the supplier made its products available to the aftermarket. Previously, customers could buy straight from the company, but otherwise Magnadyne only sold to OEMs. Manufacturer’s representative agency Leisure Time Sales’ vice president of sales Mike Willhoff is Magnadyne’s RV aftermarket sales manager.
