CRVA Names New Chairman at Board Meeting

The Canadian RV Association (CRVA) Board Meeting and Annual General Meeting revealed a big leadership shift.

At the Delta Hotels Grand Okanagan Resort in Kelowna, British Columbia, CRVA Chairman Jeff McDermott stepped down from his position. McDermott has served as chairman since 2017, in addition to his duties at Wells Fargo Commercial Distribution Finance.

CRVA President Shane Devenish said, “We are immensely grateful to Jeff McDermott for his extensive years of service and unwavering dedication to the CRVA and the Canadian RV industry.”

Marty Bloemberg of GLP Canada will assume the role of 2024-2025 CRVA chairman.

Devenish said, “We look forward to the opportunities and challenges ahead with CRVA poised to continue in its work supporting the growth and development of the RV industry in Canada.”

The meeting additionally featured the CRVA President’s Report and the associations’ activities and accomplishment highlights. Reports from RVDA of Canada, Canadian Camping and RV Council and GO RVing Canada were included.
