CRVA Takes Consumer Show Virtual

The Toronto Spring Camping & RV Show announced a decision to transition the in-person event, scheduled Feb. 25-28, to a virtual platform due to ongoing health concerns surrounding COVID-19.

The event, dubbed “The Big RV Show,” was anticipated to be held at The International Centre in Burlington, Ontario. It is the largest consumer RV show in Canada, produced by the Canadian Recreational Vehicle Association (CRVA).

Now being introduced as “The Virtual Big RV Show,” organizers say the event is a new and innovative way to give virtual attendees access to more than 500 RVs on display, lifestyle seminars and presentations, entertainment for the family and opportunities to win prizes.

“We delayed this decision as long as possible but visibility has become very clear with the current information from public health authorities and rising number of COVID cases in Canada that this is the right course of action,” Shannon O’Callaghan, CRVA’s show director, stated. “Our primary concern has always been operating in an environment that ensures the health and safety of customers above any other consideration.”
