(L to R) Phil Judson, president of the Navarro College Board of Trustees, accepts a $250,000 donation from Fun Town RV CEO Jarrod McGhee.

Fun Town RV donated $250,000 to Navarro College in Corsicana, Texas, to help the school launch an RV technician educational program.

The new program is inspired by Navarro College’s successful John Deere Technician Program. The RV technician training program will provide education through Level 1 and 2 RVTI certificates. The college is collaborating with Lippert Technical Institute to offer advanced opportunities for Levels 3 and 4 RVTI certifications.

The curriculum is packed with essential skills, including PDI technician roles, RV maintenance, operation and troubleshooting. Other training will include proper repair order (RO) write-ups, LP certification, forklift certification and OSHA training.

“This program is designed to benefit the entire RV industry,” Fun Town RV said. “We invite industry leaders and stakeholders to join us in empowering future RV technicians and driving the industry toward a brighter, more innovative future.”

Fun Town RV said the program is supported by top manufacturers and industry partners committed to providing unparalleled training to aspiring RV professionals. The dealership is hoping other companies will help match its donation.
