A new survey conducted by RVDA and Baird found RV dealers’ outlook on current conditions softening.
The February survey found dealers remained positive on the current outlook, with a 55 score out of 100 (above 50 being positive). However, the 55 score is a 14% drop from the 64 score dealers reported in January and December. Current condition outlook is down 18% from November.
The three- to five-year outlook score also softened in February. Dealers again remained positive on the outlook, with a 53 score. However, the sentiment dipped 10% from a 59 score in January and December.
It was unclear when the survey was conducted. Russia invaded Ukraine on Feb. 24, with the war helping send commodities prices such as oil, steel, copper and aluminum soaring since.
