Meyer’s RV bought Johnston RV. Johnston RV is full-service RV dealership located in Webster, New York.
The dealership will be called Meyer’s RV of Rochester and stock a full line of Jayco products and Rockwood towables from Forest River.
“The addition of Johnston RV will give us a very strong presence in upstate New York market and be a great complement to our existing Rochester, New York, area stores,” said Mark Meyer, Meyer’s RV Superstore president. “We could not be happier to add another established family-owned business to our existing family.”
Family-owned Johnston RV was founded in 1988 by Gary Johnston. His oldest son, Aaron, started in the business as a young boy and became president and owner of the company in 2002. The dealership has carried a full Jayco line for 32 years.
“We have known the Johnston family since they started selling RVs,” Meyer said, “and look forward to continuing to provide the great customer service that both Johnston RV and Meyer’s RV have built their businesses on.”
Meyer’s RV of Rochester will move 20-year RV industry veteran Dylan Miller to the new Webster, New York, location to become the dealership’s general manager. Miller previously led RV sales, finance and management at Meyer’s Churchville and Caledonia locations.
