DexKo Global Inc., a trailer and RV component manufacturer based in Elkhart, Indiana, announced that its subsidiary Dexter Axle Company (Dexter) acquired Redneck Inc. and Redline Products, LLC.
The two companies, collectively “Redneck,” are headquartered in Springfield, Missouri, and supply trailer axles, chassis and other components to North American manufacturers, dealers and retail customers.
Redneck’s Chairman and CEO Ernie Giddens said, “We believe the future for Redneck, its customers and employees are in good hands with Dexter Axle.”
“They have been a major contributor to our industry’s growth over the last 40 years,” Giddens said.
Founded in 1979, Redneck now employs almost 400 people at 20 locations in 17 states. They will join Dexter’s 3,100 employees.
“Redneck has long supported the Dexter brand, and this acquisition provides an additional platform to offer our products to their customers,” said Adam Dexter, president and CEO of Dexter.
Giddens said Dexter’s investment in the RV industry will solidify Redneck’s reputation in their markets for decades to come.
“Our companies’ core foundations of providing outstanding customer service align exceptionally well,” Dexter said. “I am certain that ‘Together is Better’ with Redneck joining Dexter.”
