Dexter Axle and the North American Trailer Dealers Association (NATDA) are joining forces. The supplier will lead an enhanced technical training and certification program at the association’s 2025 Trailer Tech Expo.
The three-day Trailer Tech Expo commences Feb. 25-27, 2025, at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center in Reno, Nevada.
Dexter Director of Product Training Scott Wentzel said, “Our goal is to continue to enhance and innovate the training experience within the trailer industry by providing certification sessions that meet the needs of owners, technicians, managers and other dealership staff.”
The expo will feature more than 10 Dexter-created seminars and hands-on training sessions. Dexter Product Training Manager Bill Snider will lead the 60- to 90-minute sessions.
Session topics include:
- Sprung and Torflex axle suspension systems
- Trailer alignment techniques
- Dexter Tow Assist technology
- Heavy-duty steer axles and air ride systems
- Comprehensive service of bearings, hubs and rotors
- Electric brake functionality and brake controllers
- Actuator service of surge and electric/hydraulic systems
- Air brakes and system troubleshooting
NATDA Director of Exhibits and Partnerships Corey Langley said, “By offering a comprehensive training and certification program, we are not only meeting the needs of today’s dealerships, but setting new standards for excellence in the trailer industry.”
