Dometic in the Desert, a new event for Dometic, took place in Tucson, Arizona, Feb. 4-6. Customers, suppliers, media and Dometic employees gathered at the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort to learn about the company and its products. Dometic leaders said the event was a success that exceeded expectations. They plan to host similar events in the future.

A welcome reception greeted guests on the first evening. The next morning, main-stage presentations included keynote speaker Jay Acunzo, an author and podcaster who discussed best practices for productivity.

Attendees also heard from Dometic business leaders and ambassadors. One-on-one time with Dometic sales representatives was available for customers at a Dometic-sponsored trade show and at other times.

“Dometic in the Desert was the first of many events to come from Dometic in the following years,” Dometic Americas President Scott Nelson said. “Guests were eager to learn more about Dometic, what we have to offer and how we can best serve them. Dometic team members benefited from networking with their industry partners and learning more about their needs and challenges. Overall, the event was a success and attendance was outstanding.”

In addition to meetings with sales teams, attendees were invited to participate in excursions, themed dinners and a charity 5K run/walk that helped raise $2,500 for Care Camps.
