Dometic’s 2022-2023 live training will be hosted in over 25 locations across the U.S. and in Canada.
The two-day training programs will focus on the operation, common issues and accurate diagnosis of a wide range of Dometic/Atwood products. This includes hands-on training, technical discussions and troubleshooting for these product lines:
- Air conditioning
- Water heaters
- Furnaces
- Refrigeration
The program is designed to educate seasoned and new RV technicians about troubleshooting and repairing Dometic/Atwood products efficiently. The program will inform technicians of new technology and products as well as common issues experienced in the field.
Technicians taking the classes will receive hours towards RVIA certification. Eight hours will be given for one day of training, 16 hours will be awarded for the two-day training.
General knowledge of basic electricity and testing equipment is recommended, but not required. Each day is limited to 20 participants and spaces are first-come, first-serve. Attendees are responsible for bringing basic tools such as screwdrivers, pliers and multi-meters. A confirmation of the location and schedule of events will be provided two weeks before each class.
