Dragonfly Energy Holdings signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Bruker on Tuesday to expedite battery technology development.
The goal, according to Dragonfly Energy, is to collaborate and improve current and future battery technology and materials.
Vick Singh, senior vice president of technology at Dragonfly Energy, said Bruker provides the required analytical instrumentation and method development tools.
Singh said, “Partnering with Bruker equips our team for success and drives us toward innovative energy storage solutions, ultimately facilitating our mission of widespread deployment of cost-effective energy storage both on and off the grid.”
Dr. Joerg Koehler, Bruker senior director of Cleantech, Industrial and Applied Markets, said he was looking forward to the company’s joint effort with Dragonfly Energy.
“Combining the most advanced analytical instrumentation with lab automation and modern robotics,” he said, “streamlines the connectivity to new and existing workflows at research and development manufacturing.”
