
Dragonfly Energy was named the 2025 Battery Technology Company of the Year. The company was selected from thousands of nominations across 14 countries.
The second annual CleanTech Breakthrough Awards recognized Dragonfly for its lithium battery technology innovations. The award highlights Dragonfly’s patented innovations in dry electrode lithium battery cell manufacturing and its Dragonfly IntelLigence technology.
The CleanTech Breakthrough annual award recognizes companies and products driving innovation in the global clean technology industry.
CleanTech Breakthrough Managing Director Bryan Vaughn said Dragonfly won the award for its innovative, scalable and eco-friendly battery manufacturing and smart energy storage technology.
“We believe the company’s patented dry electrode cell manufacturing process represents a significant leap forward in scalable, eco-conscious battery production,” Vaughn said. “Dragonfly Energy delivers a more intelligent, reliable and future-ready energy storage solution.”
Dragonfly’s technology enables PFAS-free battery cell production and is compatible with high-purity recycled materials.
Dragonfly CEO Denis Phares said the company is committed to shaping the future of the industry through sustainable innovation.
