Dragonfly Energy Rings Nasdaq Bell

Dragonfly Energy’s management team rang the opening bell at Nasdaq this morning to celebrate closing its business combination and trading on Nasdaq under the four-lettered ticker symbol DFLI.

Nasdaq Chief Client Officer Joseph Brantuk said today marks a major milestone for Dragonfly Energy.

“Dragonfly’s research and development initiatives are revolutionizing the energy storage space through innovative technologies and manufacturing processes. Dragonfly is also focused on delivering an energy storage solution to enable a more sustainable and reliable smart grid through the future development of the company’s proprietary and patented solid-state cell technology,” Brantuk said. “The Dragonfly team is composed of battery experts that push for excellence with every new development whether it is advancing their manufacturing and assembling processes or developing new game-changing products, their team continues to lead the way in innovation.”

Denis Phares, Dragonfly Energy’s CEO, said this is an exciting time for the company.

“On this momentous occasion, I would like to recognize a couple of things about Dragonfly Energy. We are a very comprehensive company. We have innovative technology. We went to market. We have sales and marketing channels,” Phares said. “But, Dragonfly Energy is also that production worker … it is that marketing team member … it is that technical sales specialist … it is that inventory specialist … it is the R & D scientist … it is that engineer … and I want to recognize not just the work that they do, but the fact that why are doing it …  I am truly humbled that they chose to do this, A Picture of Dragonfly Energy Executives at Nasdaqto really follow Dragonfly’s mission. That alone gives me the motivation to keep this rocket ship going in the right direction.”

An presentation ceremony took place at the Nasdaq MarketSite in New York at 9 a.m. with about 70 people attending.

Dragonfly Energy ‘s marketing SVP Tyler Bourns said, “It was incredible. A really special experience and we had a packed house.”

The company joined the Nasdaq ticker as DFLI October 7.  The ceremony can be seen online here.
