Dragonfly Energy Holdings Corp. added new power components to its Wakespeed product line.
The supplier unveiled the Wakespeed 500 Pro (WS500 Pro) Bluetooth Alternator Regulator and the Wakespeed 48-volt/12-volt Bi-Directional Direct Current (DC) to DC Converter (WS48-12x).
The WS500 Pro is an updated version of the WS500 Alternator Regulator. The Pro includes Bluetooth abilities. Consumers can use the Wakespeed mobile app on Apple and Android smartphones to monitor the device. The WS500 Pro charges 12-volt, 24-volt and 48-volt battery systems.
The WS48-12x supports DC power systems using 12-volt and 48-volt power. The product transfers up to 3,000 watts of power. The device works with the WS500 and the WS500 Pro. The converter enables full charging potential.
Dragonfly Energy Chief Revenue Officer Wade Seaburg said, “The demand for larger and higher voltage battery banks in mobile applications continues to grow. However, physical space constraints often limit such expansion. We believe our new Wakespeed products address this challenge by enabling significantly faster alternator charging while maintaining safety and reliability, effectively extending the capabilities of existing battery systems.”
The WS500 Pro will be available to order soon. The product is expected to ship in late summer.
