Luxury fifth wheel and toy hauler manufacturer DRV Luxury Suites launched MyDRV, a new consumer-focused mobile app, which helps customers oversee their RV.
The app has informational content for RV maintenance and ownership and is customized to include information relevant to the owner’s specific RV, according to Lesley Melvin, Heartland’s marketing director.
“When you buy a DRV, you are buying a home,” Melvin said. “You want quality, comfort, safety and above all you want service. And this is just one more way we can provide the best service to our customers.”
The mobile app allows the customer to enter a VIN, providing individualized information to monitor warranty information, sales and parts orders, as well as maintenance tips. The app includes owners’ manuals and a dealer directory. Optional push notifications alert consumers on items including parts shipments, when a warranty claim has been processed, or when a local rally will be in the area.
Jim Fenner, vice president of customer service, engineering and quality for Heartland RV, Cruiser RV and DRV Luxury Suites, said creating the app enabled up-to-date information to be provided directly to the consumer regarding their units.
“Information is updated daily,” Fenner said, “and customers can opt-in for push notifications; therefore, they are notified instantly when there is a change in their warranty service status or their parts order status. The MyDRV mobile app provides our customers with a better experience right in the palm of their hand. “
Fenner said the app provides comfort to DRV owners as the information they may need is easily accessible.
