Dynamax, a Forest River brand, and Xantrex, a power solutions supplier, have partnered to deliver a power solution to replace the RV generator.
The Xantrex Freedom eGEN system will be installed in Dynamax’s Isata 3 Freedom Edition Type C motorhomes.
The system has two 310-amp-hour lithium-ion batteries. The eGEN’s batteries can be charged through a dedicated alternator, a solar panel system or shore power.
Forest River Motorized General Manager Brian Clemens said, “The addition of the Isata 3 Freedom Edition is a direct result of monitoring customer preferences and improving the system. Customers have a strong desire to use a clean, eco-friendly system that will minimize the use of generators and internal combustion engines and that is what we have delivered.”
The Freedom eGEN system comes with an app to monitor and control the power system components via a phone or tablet.
