Eberspaecher, an international climate control solutions company, has established a joint venture with Dutch power solutions supplier Zeliox.
The future company, Eberspächer Zeliox, will develop and distribute energy storage systems for mobile power supply in commercial and special vehicles.
The companies said products would be available in Europe beginning in April. Products for North American markets are expected in a second step, with global availability by the end of 2026.
Eberspächer Zeliox said Eberspaecher is combining its expertise as an established RV supplier with Zeliox’s energy storage experience.
Eberspaecher Executive Vice President Steffen Such said, “Thanks to Zeliox’s technical expertise and many years of experience, we are expanding our product portfolio with innovative energy storage solutions in a targeted manner. With our global service and sales network, we are a strong partner when it comes to a quick market launch and the corresponding scaling.”
Zeliox owner Frank Verkuijlen said the joint venture will enable Zeliox to scale up quickly.
“By leveraging the combined strengths of both companies,” Verkuijlen said, “we position ourselves as a leading player in the vehicle power supply market, offering a more comprehensive, competitive and innovative product and service portfolio.”
In the future, the companies said they would drive targeted innovation and develop new integrated all-in-one energy storage systems.
