EcoFlow, a portable power supplier, unveiled a new power solution to support off-grid RVers.
The supplier unveiled its alternator charger within its On-the-Road-Power Solutions line. The line includes portable power stations, solar panels and portable air conditioners. In 2023, Winnebago installed the supplier’s Power Kit on its Solis Pocket 36B motorhome.
EcoFlow North American Head of Business Development Brian Essenmacher said, “With more of our customers looking for ways to enhance off-grid living, the EcoFlow On-the-Road power solutions provide them with home-like comfort while traveling.”
EcoFlow said the company wanted to create a product independent from gas generators. The alternator charger enables fast-charging abilities.
The 800-watt device uses a vehicle’s alternator energy to charge devices. The device has DC-to-DC charging. According to EcoFlow, the alternator charger will replenish 1 kilowatt of energy in just over an hour during transit.
The alternator charger enhances a vehicle’s battery longevity. The device can jump-start vehicles when connected to a portable power station.
The device is compatible with EcoFlow’s Delta series of portable power stations and its Wave 2 add-on battery.
