EcoFlow Provides Off-Grid Charging Abilities

A picture of EcoFlow's Alternator Charger.

EcoFlow added a new component to its On-the-Road Power Solutions product line. The energy solutions supplier introduced the Alternator Charger.

The device provides consumers with power without relying on solar power, shore power or generators. The Alternator Charger connects to a vehicle starter battery and recharges during drive time. The device restores 1 kilowatt-per-hour in just over one hour.

The charger uses direct current (DC) to DC charging and outputs 800 watts of power.

EcoFlow Head of the United Kingdom and Ireland Business Development Craig Bilboe said, “We hope this solution will offer outdoor enthusiasts a more flexible, enriching and limitless travel experience.”

The Alternator Charger functions as an emergency jump starter when connected to a portable power station. A built-in battery maintainer enhances vehicle battery longevity.

EcoFlow has headquarters in the U.S., Germany and Japan.
