Ember Recreational Vehicles unveiled its latest E-Series travel trailer offering. The Spark LE 12RK is a compact travel trailer measuring 16 feet long and weighing 1,830-pounds dry.
Ember CEO and founder Ashley Bontrager said the vehicle is lightweight without sacrificing Ember amenities.
She said, “This micro trailer series expands Ember’s customer base to even more diverse camping styles, introducing our brand to a new audience.”
The vehicle is 5 feet shorter than any other current Ember RV model. The 12RK is equipped with a low-alloy steel BAL RV NXG chassis. The suspension includes a Dexter Torflex torsion axle with self-adjusting electric brakes and 15-inch, off-road tires.
The body is constructed with fiberglass and Azdel walls, floors and a walkable roof. The vehicle includes a 26-gallon freshwater tank that can be paired with an optional tankless water heater. The underbelly is fully enclosed.
The rear kitchen is accessible through a rear flip-up baggage door. The area features a powder-coated steel countertop and a sink that can function as an outdoor shower. A griddle includes an LP quick connect. A 1.7-cubic-foot mini-refrigerator is optional.
Two 28-inch by 84-inch mattresses can convert into a 56-inch by 84-inch bed. A 12-volt Maxxair roof fan ventilates the vehicle. LED lighting, USB-A/C ports and 12-volt power outlets are sprinkled around the interior.
An off-grid solar package includes two 200-watt roof-mounted solar panels, a 2,000-watt sine wave inverter and a Victron MPPT solar controller.
The towable includes a two-year limited warranty. The manufacturer provides various options, including an 18,000-watt BTU furnace, an 8,000-watt BTU wall-mounted air conditioner, a tankless water heater, a 270-degree batwing awning and a roof rack system.
The Spark LE 12RK has begun shipping to dealer lots.
