Encore RV will be debuting five new floorplans at Elkhart Extravaganza Sept. 26-30 in Elkhart, Ind.
The Rog Adventure Trailers model lineup ranges in size from 10 feet to 16 feet. The trailers are built on an all-aluminum chassis and frame designed, engineered and manufactured in-house by Encore. Encore Rog Adventure Trailers are built with composite materials and feature all-aluminum cabinets that are CNC laser-cut, formed and powdercoated. Each RV is 100% wood-free.
Encore will be unveiling two more models in the micro-series. The 10MC, the smallest offering in the lineup, is a mini toy hauler that fits inside a standard-size garage. The trailer can transport an ATV, small motorcycles, bicycles or E-bikes. The 10MC has a 1,414-pound base weight, making it towable by most vehicles.
The second micro series adventure trailer is the 12BH. The trailer features a 70×54-inch bunkhouse in the rear to sleep two to three children. The lower level has a 60×80-inch futon/mattress for adults. The rear slide-out exterior kitchen below the bunkhouse features a two-burner stove, 12-volt 1.7 cubic foot refrigerator, a sink, a flip-up countertop extension and cabinet storage. The model contains a 23-gallon freshwater tank and includes an exterior shower.
“The 12RK is the adventure trailer that fits in a standard size garage, sleeps up to five people in a hard-sided camper, and is towable by most mid-size SUVs.” Encore RV founder Rich Schnippel said. “It is perfect for young families looking for adventure.”
The company is rolling out two larger Rog models: the 14TH1/TH2, which are toy haulers. The TH1 features a single roadside tipout bunk, a sleeping space extended outside the RV covered by a tent. The TH2 contains opposing tipouts for expanded sleeping accommodations. Both models feature an interior kitchen with a two-burner stove, microwave oven and sink with 26 gallons of freshwater. Both models can transport ATVs, motorcycles or golf carts.
Encore also will debut the 16RB adventure trailer. The 16RB will showcase two kitchens, a micro kitchen on the interior with a 12-volt, 4.5 cubic foot refrigerator/freezer, microwave oven and a beverage prep station. Outside, the trailer features the same rear kitchen as the 12BH with a 12-volt, 1.7 cubic foot refrigerator, two-burner stove, stainless steel sink and cabinet storage. The model has a queen mattress, a two-person dinette that converts to an extra sleeping area and closet and cabinetry storage.
“This is one of the most exciting trailers I have seen in a long time. We took advantage of every available space and even found a way to include 54 gallons of fresh water,” Schnippel said. “This is a trailer you have to see to believe.”
Encore RV will introduce its Survival series trailers, based on the 12RK and 12BH models. The Encore RV display will be located on Executive Boulevard, on the south side, on the way to the RV/MH Hall of Fame.
