Entegra unveiled its newest Type B motorhome called the Launch, riding on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 4×4 platform.
The 4×4 Launch combines the four-wheel-drive Sprinter chassis with Entegra’s E-Z Drive ride and handling package. The handling package includes Koni shocks and a heavy-duty rear stabilizer bar.
The off-grid power system includes a 48-volt, 210-amp-hour smart lithium battery providing 10,200 watts of power. Also included are a 3,500-watt inverter, a dedicated second 48-volt alternator linked to the lithium battery and 200 watts of roof-mounted solar panels.
“Since our entry into the van segment we have seen tremendous growth,” said Nic Martin, general manager, Entegra Coach and Jayco Motorized Group. “The 4×4 space seemed like an obvious next step for us and we are all extremely excited with what we’re bringing to market.”
The interior includes Tecnoform European-style cabinetry. A hydronic heating system includes an LED touchscreen control and the motorhome is controlled by a multiplex system powered by Firefly.
The kitchen includes a portable induction cooktop and a 3-cubic-foot DC refrigerator.
Other Launch highlights include a 48-volt Coleman-Mach 10 air conditioner, Carefree’s armless powered awning with an LED light strip and wind sensor and a double roof rack with moveable ladder.
Entegra’s Launch MSRP starts at $192,000 and is offered in two optional paint schemes: Aztec partial paint (Silver van only) and Forest Glade partial paint (Sandstone van only).
