EXCLUSIVE: Brandmotion Promotes Redesigned Website

As seasons shift from one temperature range to the next, humans adjust. As winter snowflakes replace fall leaves, people bundle up in warmer clothes, stow ice scrapers and prepare snow shovels. Just as people adjust to changing seasons, companies adjust to shifting business trends.

Brandmotion saw a shift in its audience base over the past five years. The towing safety solutions supplier’s online audience shifted from general consumers and truck accessory shops to RV consumers and commercial/government fleets. Brandmotion recognized the need to adjust its messaging and outreach to match its customer change.

The supplier spent nearly a year implementing its update. Since the summer of 2023, the supplier has been on a mission to deliver an updated and simplified digital customer experience through its website redesign. The website provides numerous features to support dealers and consumers.

Brandmotion Head of Sales and Marketing Brandon Bahr said, “We want our customers to have the best possible online experience that reflects who Brandmotion is today, not who we were five years ago.”

In addition to providing separate pages for RV and fleet customers, Brandmotion added features to serve its current customer base.

The “Shop Products” page has a filter feature, enabling site visitors to find exactly what they are looking for. Customers can filter products based on vehicle type, system type, camera input number, connection type, resolution, durability rating, features and tow vehicle models.

The website also provides recommended products as consumers search the site.

The “Product Support” page provides facts, answers and questions (FAQ), spare parts search and installation instruction access.

Brandmotion partnered with consumer-focused distributor Crutchfield. The distributor manages Brandmotion’s website order fulfillment.

Bahr said Crutchfield’s Brandmotion orders have boosted since the website’s soft launch in March.

Brandmotion’s reach to RV dealers also received attention. The new “Become a Dealer” page provides information for dealers interested in working with Brandmotion. The page lists distributors that Brandmotion works with, including Arrow Distributing and NTP-Stag. Dealers can access a form to connect with the supplier.

Brandmotion first launched the new website at the beginning of March. The team spent two months enhancing the site, based on customer feedback.

The Brandmotion team will finish the website’s finishing touches in the coming week; however, Bahr said the project will never truly be complete.

“As we continue to learn more from customers and identify the needs of the industry to come up with new products,” Bahr said, “we will constantly be making enhancements to the website. So, there will never be a finished project.”
