EXCLUSIVE: Brown & Brown Brings Cheetah to RVDA

Brown & Brown’s mascot is a cheetah. Director of F&I RV Training Shawn Moran said the cheetah is sly and fast, which he said resembles Brown & Brown.

“We like to say we are sly, we are fast, we think incredibly hard and we make those right moves,” he said.

Brown & Brown brought the cheetah in mascot form to RVDA on Tuesday. The cheetah made an appearance on the RVDA floor during the afternoon and was the highlight of the company’s third annual dealer appreciation party Tuesday night.

The party brought in dozens of dealers, colleagues and friends at Alexxa’s restaurant at Las Vegas Paris.

“We were pretty psyched to have the mascot come and hang out with us,” Moran said, adding that the mascot was on duty and could not share in drinks with the attendees.

Although the annual event during RVDA began by focusing on Brown & Brown customers, Moran said the F&I provider wanted to ensure a wider reach.

“We had a lot of dealers asking us if they could bring by members of their 20 Group,” Moran said. “We are supporters of the industry, not just our dealers. We invest heavily in RVDA, we invest in the (Mike Molino) RV Learning Center. We want to make sure we are fighting for the dealer, always.”

Moran said limiting the invitation to dealers who are Brown & Brown customers would limit his ability to learn as much as possible about the industry and dealers’ interests.

“The party is the industry talking, sharing and enjoying time with each other,” he said. “We invite people outside of our own and we all get to sit and laugh. It is not that we do not know those other folks, it just allows us time to spend with them, have a couple of laughs and tell some good stories.”
