When Brown & Brown decided to host an event to thank partners for their work and connections, the RVDA Convention/Expo taking place live was not a sure thing.
As the convention drew near, company Director of F&I RV Training Shawn Moran realized plans needed to escalate.
“We had to ramp up, fast,” Moran said. “Even areas like the band selection came right at the end.”
Brown & Brown hosted the event at Hexx Kitchen and Bar on Tuesday night. The well-attended event also was well-received, Moran said.
“As one of the largest suppliers of service contracts, F&I and insurance products, we wanted to thank our clients nicely,” he said. “When people say go big or go home, at Brown & Brown, we go big.”
Moran said the company’s culture of giving back drove the decision to host the event. The event drew banks and floor plan lenders as well as F&I professionals and suppliers.’
“We believe in partnership and what better way to celebrate that than to have everyone together in one place,” he said. “From what I understand, and I did not get a chance to talk to everyone, the responses were very positive. This is definitely the new talking point for Tuesday night during RVDA.”
