CrossRoads RV’s upgraded Redwood Luxury fifth wheels, which the company unveiled at Elkhart Extravaganza in September, received favorable reactions so far at 2025 consumer RV shows.
The manufacturer sold 23 Redwoods at the Florida RV SuperShow in January despite many consumers saying they were unaware of Redwood’s new upgrades.
The strong Tampa response led the manufacturer to boost its Redwood marketing, releasing a new video walkthrough. Now the manufacturer is sharing its refined fifth wheels with the industry.
Redwood Product Manager Hilton Riggins said the enhancements reflected consumer needs and advancements in materials and technology.
He said, “We also wanted to stay competitive, improve durability and incorporate new innovations that enhance the overall customer experience.”
Consumers particularly favored the fifth wheel’s Sage interior décor package and the four new paint schemes: Frosted Emerald, Royal Slate, Smoky Charcoal and White Mahogany.
For the first time, Redwood integrated Keystone RV’s Hyperdeck flooring. The composite subfloor is highly resistant to water damage and degradation. Hyperdeck flooring is a lightweight alternative to wood flooring. The Hyperdeck flooring enhances insulation and noise-dampening while providing increased durability.

“This innovation aligns with Redwood’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction,” Riggins said, “ensuring that our customers experience fewer maintenance concerns and more reliability.”
The chassis was redesigned with a stronger frame and more stability.
The 101-inch-wide RV provides increased interior space and storage. The vehicle features 3-inch sidewalls with Falcon Bass Z-65 gel-coated sheet fiberglass.
An upgraded chassis provides additional storage space. The vehicle rides on three 7,000-pound Dexter axles and 17.5-inch H-rated Cooper Tires. An upgraded MORryde independent suspension is optional.
The combination of the suspension, triple axles, 101-inch wide body and 3-inch walls, “actually put us on that same playing field with our competition,” Riggins said. “Now we are more apples to apples, but we are also in a more competitive, a little bit better price point, so we will be a lot more competitive against our actual competition.”
Inside the RV, the slide outs feature linoleum flooring and the cabinetry includes dovetail drawer boxes. Audio reverberates from Klipsch speakers.
Consumers can control features such as lighting, temperature and powered roller shades through Firefly Integrations’ multiplex system.
The exterior features a newly designed front and rear cap with integrated lighting. CrossRoads now offers four new automotive paint schemes for the vehicle: Frosted Emerald, Royal Slate, Smoky Charcoal and White Mahogany.
The fifth wheels include a two-year warranty and a three-year structural warranty.
“We have listened to our customers and elevated every aspect of this brand,” Riggins said, “ensuring it meets the needs of today’s most discerning travelers.”
