The supplier’s new Roof Deck Systems fulfills the mission as a safety solution.
Visser said Easy Access products such as the Roof Deck “protects people before they fall, as opposed to having protection after they fall.”
The Roof Deck is one of Easy Access’s RV rooftop containment systems, which the company has built since 2019. The Roof Deck enables technicians to safely work along the RV sides’ upper ends in addition to providing rooftop access.
The system has a 9-foot maximum height. This feature provides technicians space to work along the RV sidewall and rooflines.
The system consists of adjustable, 8-foot-long, anti-slip decks in 20-inch or 30-inch widths. The boards bolt together to create 16-foot or 32-foot platforms. The entire system is on wheels, providing mobility around the RV.
Each platform has a single-sided handrail with powder-coated safety orange end gates.
In addition to preventive safety, Visser said Easy Access’ products are cost-effective compared with harness system alternatives.
Easy Access has shipped nine systems since November. The company is shipping five more to a California-based RV dealership. Visser said he has received positive feedback.
