Gold Heat hired Russ Eisenberg as the new vice president of business development. Eisenberg will oversee Gold Heat’s national sales and marketing efforts.
Gold Heat is a custom supplier of electric radiant underfloor heat mats for RVs, tiny house builders and flooring installers.
Eisenberg was formerly the VP of sales at Indow, a Portland, Oregon, custom window insert firm, for just under 10 years.
Eisenberg said he came to Gold Heat, in part, because he learned how to become an expert at mass product customization at Indow. He plans to apply those skills to expanding Gold Heat’s product lines into new markets. He said a love of architectural products, building markets, alternative energy sources and bringing comfort to people also drew him to the position.
He will be attending multiple tradeshows and rallies in the RV and tiny home markets this summer to get acquainted with customers’ needs and concerns.
“We know we have a most durable product on the market. We know what we do well, but we do not always know what we don’t do well, or where we can drive real value to our customers,” Eisenberg said. “That is what I am looking forward to, is forming those new partnerships and entering new markets. How can we become better servants to our customers? At the end of the day, our goal is efficient and effective comfort at home whether those homes are on wheels or concrete.”
