The day MenuMetric was scheduled to give a presentation before Brown & Brown’s F&I school, the technology software provider rolled out its latest innovation.
MenuConnect is the company’s live platform to facilitate communication between a consumer RV buyer and the RV dealership. The platform works like Zoom or similar video chat programs, with the consumer and F&I manager able to see each other on the screen in the MenuMetric platform.
An F&I manager emails or texts the consumer with a link to invite them to the live room. When the consumer joins, both parties are live in the presentation at the same time. Connections can be made through a phone, tablet or computer.
The platform enables F&I managers to present the dealership’s F&I menu along with any pictures, PDFs or videos. The manager runs through the F&I presentation and selects the service contracts and/or products desired. The F&I manager drags a signature box into the correct place on the screen, and the consumer clicks on the box to electronically sign.
MenuMetric Chief Operating Officer Phil Imbery led the presentation to over 200 attendees at the Brown & Brown event. He said the technological world continues to evolve quickly, and consumers are more used to an experience where they conduct business online.
“There is a lot of content this week at the Brown & Brown school related to websites and making that transaction easier for the customer,” he said. “That is where this comes from.”
Imbery said early reviews had been amazing. A select dealer group will perform beta testing on MenuConnect over the next month. In December, current customers using MenuMetric’s Elite level service will have access to MenuConnect. All other current and new customers will have the option to gain access to MenuConnect beginning Jan. 1, 2025.
“It is all about the ease of transaction,” he said, “meeting the customer where they are.”
Imbery said the opportunities are greater than simply using MenuConnect to do business with customers buying from across the country.
“Maybe you have a dealer group, five stores, and you have somebody on vacation,” he said. “You can now cover for that person remotely, instead of having to juggle people’s schedules to cover for them, move somebody around and send them off to that dealership. You will be able to handle that scenario a whole lot easier.”
