Northern Wholesale Supply’s annual RV Supershow is set for two days this year, beginning today at Treasure Island Resort & Casino in Red Wing, Minnesota.
Dean Kruchten, Northern Wholesale Supply sales and marketing director, said everyone involved in the RV distributor’s Supershow is looking forward to a couple of successful days. Over 350 attendees have registered to attend the event.
“We have the largest number of dealers ever coming,” he said. “Dealers are excited to come. Obviously, many of them have some additional inventory that they are looking to work through but people are optimistic, it has been exciting to see.”
The Northern Wholesale event is a chance for the industry to gather and visit with old friends, he said. Although new RV sales are slowing, Kruchten said dealers are enthusiastic about the future.
“This year, the new product flow right at the finish line here has been incredible,” he said.
Kruchten advised participating vendors to take advantage of the large number of dealers attending, many of which are showing up for the first time this year.
“It is a good chance for them to meet with dealers and get some good dealer feedback on their new products,” he said.
The show began this morning at 8 a.m. with dealer education sessions. The first day concludes with a preview of the trade show floor from 6-8:30 p.m.
“We have more training sessions than ever before.” Kruchten said.
The exhibit floor opens at 8 a.m. Dec. 8 and continues until 6 p.m. An awards ceremony celebrating suppliers and the best show products will finish out the night.
“Dealers are planning for a good year,” Kruchten said. “Are they planning for a record year like last year? No, but they are planning for a good year and they are buying smart.”
