After more than a decade of network impact, Corey Ruzicka will retire from his role as Priority RV Network executive director, effective in December. His retirement was announced at the association’s Annual Strategic Planning Meeting Feb. 26 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Ruzicka said, “It has been a remarkable journey filled with both hard work and enjoyment. Every day of the year since 2011, I have had the privilege of collaborating with America’s finest RV dealers.”
While Ruzicka joined the network in 2011, Priority RV Network President and Crestview RV Center President Mike Regan said Ruzicka was at the network’s first meeting in 1997.
When Ruzicka joined the network in 2011, after the 2008 recession, Regan said, “Corey hit the ground running.”
Ruzicka brought dealer and provider experience to the network. According to Regan, Ruzicka worked with banks and suppliers to negotiate the best deals for the network’s dealer members.
Priority RV Network cited that the association expanded to 153 dealer locations and 40 supplier partners under his leadership.
Ruzicka impacted dealerships nationally through recruitment and training. Regan said Ruzicka’s outgoing personality contributed to dealer success. According to Regan, Ruzicka once trained around 60-70 dealerships in one year.
Regan said Ruzicka’s memory enabled him to recall dealers’ specific data and numbers.
Ruzicka said, “The bonds formed and the progress we have made together will always hold a special place in my heart.”
According to Regan, the association is seeking a leader knowledgeable on RV network dynamics, and capable of association growth and success.
Priority RV Network is currently conducting its 2024 Annual Meeting April 2-4 in Las Vegas.
