The RV/MH Hall of Fame is seeking a leader. Twelve-year Hall of Fame President Darryl Searer will retire Dec. 31, leaving the position open for the Hall’s next executive.

The president will lead an 11-person staff and oversee the Hall’s 40-acre campus in Elkhart, Indiana.

Hall of Fame Chairwoman Debbie Brunoforte said the organization is searching for a candidate who matches Searer’s enthusiasm, passion and dedication to the industry.

Brunoforte said, “The RV/MH Hall of Fame is the crown jewel of our industry, and it is the only place in the world that honors the history of individuals and the legacy of our industry.”

According to Search Committee Chairman Leo Poggione, the committee prefers a candidate with event and convention hall experience to manage the Hall of Fame’s nearly 100,000 square feet of indoor event space.

He said, “The convention space, really is going to sustain the Hall of Fame and make us healthy for the future.”A picture of the RV/MH Hall of Fame logo

Since Searer joined as president, the Hall of Fame expanded to add two indoor event halls, a 23,000-square-foot pavilion and 1 million square feet of exterior asphalt.

Brunoforte said it was important for the president to generate the Hall’s revenue.

Responsibilities will include:
