The RV/MH Hall of Fame is preparing for another successful supplier show in 2024 during the Elkhart Extravaganza.
The 2024 show registration opened on Nov. 1. According to Hall of Fame President Darryl Searer, the 2024 show is already 40% sold.
Searer said an early bird discount is offered for those who register by Dec. 31. Early bird registrations will receive a $500 discount off the $3,500 indoor booth price and $2,500 outdoor booth price.
“I think we are going to see about a 25% increase (in attendance) over this past show,” Searer said, “maybe even more than that.”
Searer said exhibit space will increase by 50% in 2024. The event will expand to include additional space at the new 36,000-square-foot convention hall. The new hall has ceilings towering 5 feet higher than Ingram Hall, where the show was held in past years. In 2024, exhibitors will fill both halls.
Searer said Thor Industries’ registration area will move from the grand entrance to the new building’s southeast entrance. Thor’s relocation makes the Grand Hall entrance available to use for the supplier show.
Searer said 215 booths will be placed in the new convention center, while 100 will remain in Ingram Hall. Searer said the expansion will provide more space for suppliers to eat in multiple supplier lounges.
Searer said Champion Hall will be set up to host large suppliers seeking additional booth space. The area is 4,500 square feet. Champion Hall will be divided into two large areas equaling 1,800 square feet and 2,700 square feet, which can be reserved by exhibitors needing extra space.
Building on Last Year’s Show
Searer said the Hall of Fame event “is the only wholesale show where suppliers have an opportunity to talk with both dealers and manufacturers.”
The president said suppliers can talk with purchasing agents, product managers, engineers, designers and more.
He said 164 suppliers exhibited at the 2023 show. More than 200 RV manufacturing personnel attended in 2023, a 33% increase over the 150 who attended in 2022. More than 1,000 dealers walked the event both in 2023 and 2022.
According to Searer, the dealer and RV manufacturer attendee numbers were calculated based on color-coded lanyards passed out during the 2023 show. In 2022, attendance was calculated based on attendee business cards given to the hall upon entry to the show.
In 2023, exhibitors filled the Ingram Hall show floor and occupied 20,000 square feet outside the Hall of Fame.
