In nearly every mystery, one character is a step ahead of the narrative’s cast. Sherlock Holmes made detailed conclusions long before his companions, while Nancy Drew’s curiosity led her to uncover the truth.

Similar to narrative heroes, RV industry businesses must stay steps ahead to secure success. SnapPad CEO and co-founder Devon Wilson integrates this quality into the supplier’s inventions.

SnapPad’s new SnapJack QD is a replacement metal foot with a pre-installed metal foot rubber foot on Lippert’s Quick Drop Stabilizer.

According to Wilson, SnapPad chose to create an accessory complementing the stabilizer because the company anticipated the system’s popularity on newer RVs.

“As newer RVs come out with these new systems,” Wilson said, “we want to stay on top of the systems that are coming out.”

Wilson said he was glad the company chose the system as many dealers have reached out, confirming that the stabilizer is appearing on multiple new RVs.

Although the SnapJack QD was initially made for the Quick Drop system, it also accommodates Lippert’s PSIX and PSIX2 power stabilizer jack systems.

The SnapPad replacement accessory provides grip, stability and protection benefits as opposed to the system’s original metal foot. According to SnapPad, the SnapJack QD has around 114%-174% more surface area compared with the Quick Drop’s standard foot.A picture of the SnapJack QD installation diagram.

The product is constructed with recycled rubber. Each SnapJack QD foot weighs 5.4 pounds and has a tuxedo black powder coat. Third-party testing conducted shake tests to ensure that the pad would not disconnect or cause the jack to lower while the RV is mobile. Wilson said the product and pads passed with flying colors.

The feet come in a two-pack or a four-pack. The SnapJack QD comes with custom hardware for bolt-on installation.

The supplier marketed the product to consumers first.

Wilson said, “We are trying to get feedback from consumers to make sure the offering that the dealers have is the right one.”

Eventually, Canadian dealers heard about the product and ordered SnapJack QDs for their stores. Wilson said the product was so popular that, “we sold almost our entire first production run without even really trying.”

Wilson said consumers have been asking for various new products. The company is planning upcoming product launches based on the feedback.
