Through the digital age, online communities have surfaced and united people.

Torklift International is leveraging digital community unity through its new Torklift Trading Post Facebook group. The community is open to all Torklift dealers and serves as a solution to inventory issues.

Torklift President Jack Kay said, “The Torklift Trading Post is not just a tool, it is a community. It is about empowering our dealers, giving them a platform to connect, engage and support each other’s businesses. We are committed to their success.”

Dealers will use the page, which is an invite-only group open to dealers, to share inventory status. The page provides a space where dealers can move aged inventory. If a dealer’s customer is looking for a certain product but the dealer does not carry it, they can check the Facebook group. If another dealer has the part, the dealers can work together to ship the part to the dealer in need.

Torklift Marketing Director Jasmyne Faborito said, “Your stock is visible on a public space. It creates a sense of community because you do not have to just rely on distribution or even rely on us to get your product. There are other outlets that you can utilize to get it.”

The Facebook group launched at the end of December. Torklift’s sales team is visiting dealers to guide the onboarding process by answering questions and setting up accounts.
