Henderson’s Line-Up Brake and RV Inc., an RV steering and suspension supplier and service center, has a new leader.
Tommy Henderson will follow in the footsteps of his father, Robert Henderson, and grandfather, Floyd Henderson, to become Henderson’s Line-Up third-generation owner.
Tommy Henderson has been in the RV and automotive industry since 2009. In high school and college, he worked in the family business. After earning his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, he worked at Cummins as an application engineer to gain valuable industry experience.
In 2021, he returned to Henderson’s Line-Up, learning about different areas within the company. He worked on trade shows, research and development and company financials. Henderson planned to take over ownership after his father eventually retired.
Henderson said understanding each part of the business is important when needing to jump in where help is needed.
In his new role, Henderson will make decisions on the company’s strategic plans and personnel decisions. He will lead future projects and run day-to-day business operations.
“My dad has always gone to a lot of the RV rallies and trade shows,” Henderson said. “We will continue to do that.”
Henderson’s Line-Up serves customers nationwide. The company’s mission includes making products to enhance vehicle handling and positively transforming lives.
“This company has always been about family, faith and service,” Henderson said. “I am honored to lead a team that embodies our mission to provide solutions for safer and happier driving while positively impacting the lives of our team members and customers.”
Henderson said his goal is to build on the foundation his father and grandfather established.
Henderson’s Line-Up was established in Grants Pass, Oregon, in 1961. The company was originally a service center, providing alignment, steering and brake services.
Over the decades, the company has grown, developing the SuperSteer product line and the Road Performance Assessment (RPA). SuperSteer products address specific steering and handling problems. The RPA is a 15-mile road test that reveals steering and suspension problems over a variety of road surfaces.
In the future, Henderson plans to expand the company’s product line, in the SuperSteer line and for the Super C market. The company recently released the SuperSteer SS111 Rear Sway Bar to fit a Mercedes Sprinter 3500 chassis.
Henderson also plans to move the company to the pickups and towable space through the SuperSteer product line.
