Ember RV’s first toy hauler model will be on display at this weekend’s Overland Expo East show in Arrington, Virginia.
The company is calling its Overland Series 240TKR a gear hauler. The RV was on display during Elkhart Extravaganza last week. The 240TKR features a ramp door to load gear, Curt’s trailing arm independent suspension and Ember’s patent-pending EmberTrack system.
Chris Barth, co-founder and chief operating officer, said: “Current customers and interested buyers have been asking for ‘an Ember toy hauler’ since the original introduction of our Overland Series in late 2021. Customers saw the overland potential provided by the Curt independent suspension and our off-grid solar upgrades, coupled with the quality that Ember delivers, so we are excited to introduce this new floorplan to our lineup.”
The 240TKR features a 90×72-inch rear ramp door that can be used as a “party deck.” The door leads to an unobstructed garage. Bunk platforms can be used as storage shelving or desktop space. The front includes Ember’s patent-pending twin-king reconfigurable bed.
“The 240TKR not only has massively flexible gear storage and bunk space in the rear, but an extremely unique front bed set up,” Barth said. “It will allow owners to set up their sleeping situation differently each trip, since it can easily convert from a standard king-sized bed to two twin beds. It is like a Swiss Army knife.”
The 240TKR has Goodyear Wrangler off-road tires, Ember’s Stargazer Euro-style window skylight above the master bedroom and an 81-gallon freshwater tank.
