REV Group has launched the 2021 Fortis Type A gas motorhome, available in four floor plans with the option of full body paint. Fortis debuted in 2020, marketed as a full-scale luxury Type A at an affordable price point.
The 2021 Fortis is built on the Ford F-53 chassis. The Fortis also has an 8,000-pound towing capacity for towing cars or boats. Heated mirrors with turn indicators and side cameras add to increased safety, while the standard 5.5kW generator, 100w solar panel and 2000w inverter provide power.
“The Fortis is loaded with great features and is at a great price,” said Doug Miller, product manager for REV Recreation Group’s Type A products. “We’ve designed the 2021 floorplans to be family-friendly with plenty of space, storage and sleeping capacity.”
Fortis 32RW
This model sleeps six and has a large master bedroom with three wardrobes, one of which can accommodate a stackable washer and dryer.
Fortis 33HB
The 33HB sleeps six and has a bath and a half for convenience. There is ample room for belongings with a large wardrobe and dresser, including generous above the beltline exterior storage.
Fortis 34MB
This unit sleeps up to six with a sofa sleeper and drop-down queen bed. The kitchen features deep pantry storage, which functions as a Lazy Susan with two sets of rotating storage shelves.
Fortis 36DB
The 36DB sleeps up to eight people with a king bed, sofa sleeper, optional drop-down queen bed over the cab, and bunk beds with sliding barn doors for privacy. The unit also has two full bathrooms, including one with a tub/shower enclosure.
