The Florida RV Trade Association (FRVTA) wrapped up a series of five state regional shows this month.
Although the first few shows yielded mixed outcomes, the last two finished the season with strong attendance.
According to FRVTA, the Ocala RV Show had good weather at the Florida Horse Park in Ocala, Florida. Between Feb. 29 and March 3, almost 8,000 people attended the show.
According to Patty Flanagan, show director, the Ocala show has built a reputation around stability. The show has been held at the same location for multiple years.
“This is the largest regional show in terms of dealer space…,” Flanagan said. “Everyone I spoke to was very happy with the results.”
The Orlando RV Show debuted in Kissimmee, Florida, at Osceola Heritage Park. FRVTA said the region had not had a show for years before this event. The association provided free parking and admission.
From March 14-17, almost 5,800 attendees enjoy the warm weather accompanying the show. The Orlando event drew four regional dealers. FRVTA said plans are in progress for next year’s event.
FRVTA will host more regional shows in the summer and fall. For more information, contact FRVTA at 813-741-0488 or click here.
